WESTPHALIA, Mo. - The Blair Oaks Lady Falcons couldn't overcome a 19-2 Hermann run in the second quarter as they fell 54-30 to the Lady Bearcats on Wednesday night in the semifinals of the Class 3 District 9 Tournament.
Kayla Jones got the Lady Falcons within 8-6 with a buzzer-beater in the first quarter.
Blair Oaks scored the first five points of the second quarter, but Hermann answered with the 19-2 run on its way to a 27-15 lead at halftime. Hermann's lead was up to 42-25 after three quarters.
Halie Rackers led the Lady Falcons with eight points. Bailey Rissmiller and Makenna Kliethermes each added five points.
Blair Oaks ends its season at 21-6.
Hermann (23-4), the No. 2 seed, will face top-seeded South Callaway (25-0) at 6 p.m. Friday in the championship game.
