WESTPHALIA - The Fatima Lady Comets scored 20 points in each of the first two quarters Monday, pulling away early to a 60-24 win against the Chamois Lady Pirates in Show-Me Conference play.
Fatima was ahead 20-7 after one quarter and 40-12 by halftime. The Lady Comets stretched their lead to 56-24 through three quarters before holding the Lady Pirates without a point in the fourth.
Alyssa Struemph led the Lady Comets with 15 points, while Morgan Luebbering added 10 points.
Katie Keilholz also had 15 points to lead the Lady Pirates, while McKenna Wuelling scored the team's remaining nine points.
Fatima (6-1) plays Thursday at New Bloomfield.
Chamois (4-5) hosts Prairie Home on Thursday.
