ST. JAMES, Mo. - The St. James Tigers opened Tuesday's game on a 19-0 run, never trailing in a 77-61 win against the Eldon Mustangs.
The Tigers led 27-9 after one quarter and 46-20 at halftime. Eldon battled back, outscoring St. James 20-18 in the third quarter and 21-13 in the fourth.
Aidan Wells led the Mustangs with 13 points and Landon Wall finished with 12 points.
Eldon (2-6) hosts Boonville on Friday in its Tri-County Conference opener.
