Wyatt Fischer made a pair of free throws with :08 left, helping the Jefferson City Jays secure a 52-48 win against the Blair Oaks Falcons in Thursday's freshman game at Simonsen.
Fischer had a game-high 15 points for the Jays. Orentheus Pitts added 14 points with three 3-pointers.
Carson Bax led the Falcons with 11 points and Carson Prenger finished with 10 points.
Jefferson City (10-1) plays Tuesday at Rolla. Blair Oaks (9-3) will play Tuesday at Southern Boone.
