HALLSVILLE, Mo. - The Eugene Eagles couldn't stop the duo of Luke Hicks and Clayton Cook as they fell 71-60 to the Hallsville Indians on Tuesday.
Hallsville raced out to a 26-16 lead after the first quarter and extended it to 42-24 by halftime. The Indians took a 55-38 lead into the fourth quarter.
Draven Carrender led Eugene with 13 points. Tre Kempker and Leo Hager scored 12 and 11 points, respectively for Eugene (4-4), which hosts St. Elizabeth on Friday.
Hicks and Cook each scored 21 points for Hallsville.
