COLUMBIA - The Jefferson City freshman basketball teams split a doubleheader Thursday at Rock Bridge.
The Jays A team won 62-53, led by 20 points from Corde Brown. Brysan Jeffries added 14 points and Daniel Woodard finished with 11.
The Jefferson City B team dropped a 61-36 decision to the Bruins. Seth Brooks and Caleb Walker each scored eight points.
The B team plays Saturday against Waynesville in the championship game of the School of the Osage freshman tournament.
