NEW BLOOMFIELD, Mo. - The Fatima Comets opened Show-Me Conference play Tuesday with a 69-50 win against the New Bloomfield Wildcats.
Fatima led 15-6 after one quarter and held New Bloomfield scoreless in the second to lead 28-6 at halftime. The Comets extended their lead to 56-25 at the end of the third quarter.
Brett Werner finished with a team-high 29 points for the Comets and Cole Lehmen added 19 points.
Fatima (3-2) hosts Southern Boone on Friday.
