Prep Baseball: South Callaway 5, Eugene 1

MOKANE, Mo. - The South Callaway Bulldogs improved to 5-0 in Show-Me Conference play Monday with a 5-1 win against the Eugene Eagles.

Dylan Lepper pitched a complete game to earn the win for the Bulldogs. He allowed one run on six hits and struck out two.

Mason Kirkweg struck out 10 in six innings for Eugene in a complete-game effort, allowing six hits and two walks.

Peyton Leeper went 2-for-3 to lead the Bulldogs, hitting a three-run home run in the bottom of the third inning to extend their lead to 4-0. Lepper also finished with two singles.

Jacob Adrian had a double for the Eagles, while Zach Bond had an RBI groundout in the top of the fourth inning.

South Callaway (14-7), ranked No. 4 in Class 3, hosts Fatima today in a conference matchup.

Eugene (6-4, 2-2 Show-Me) hosts Versailles today.
