NEWBURG, Mo. - The Vienna Eagles defeated Newburg 12-0 in five innings Saturday.
Tyler Roberds led the 10-hit Vienna attack with two hits, including a home run, with two RBI. Luke McEnnis had a single and three RBI while McCrae Fuller singled and drove in a pair of runs.
McEnnis was also the winning pitcher, tossing three innings of two-hit baseball with five strikeouts.
Vienna also picked up an 8-4 win against Steelville on Friday at home.
Roberds and Dylan Buschmann each had a hit and two RBI. McEnnis had two hits and an RBI, and Gavin Stricklan and Carson Hayes each finished with two hits.
Stricklan earned the win in relief, allowing two unearned runs on two hits and a walk in four innings. He struck out seven.
Vienna (13-2) hosts Russellville on Tuesday.
