Jays tennis 0-3 at Ladue

LADUE, Mo. - The Jefferson City Jays finished 0-3 at the Ladue Invitational on Friday and Saturday.

The Jays opened up Friday with an 9-0 loss to defending Class 2 state runner-up Lindbergh.

Falling in doubles were Karsten McMillan and Josh Wilde (2-8), Atul Krishnadas and Alec Krumm (1-8), and Tanner Haugen and Tarun Bathini (4-8).

Falling in singles were McMillan (4-6, 4-6), Wilde (4-6, 2-6), Krishnadas (4-6, 1-6), Haugen (1-6, 2-6), Krumm (0-6, 2-6) and Bathini (4-6, 7-5, 4-10 match tiebreaker).

On Saturday, the Jays opened up with a 7-2 loss to Ladue.

Winning in doubles play were Krishnadas and Krumm (8-6). Falling were McMillan and Wilde (2-8) and Haugen and Bathini (3-8).

The lone singles winner was Haugen (6-1, 6-2). Falling in singles were McMillan (0-6, 1-6), Wilde (1-6, 1-6), Krishnadas (0-6, 0-6), Krumm (3-6, 6-4, 5-10 match tiebreaker) and Bathini (3-6, 2-6).

Jefferson City wrapped up with an 9-0 loss to John Burroughs.

Dropping their doubles matches were McMillan and Wilde (1-8), Krishnadas and Krumm (2-8) and Haugen and Bathini (1-8).

Falling in singles were McMillan (0-6, 1-6), Wilde (2-6, 0-6), Krishnadas (0-6, 0-6), Haugen (1-6, 0-6), Krumm (1-6, 0-6) and Bathini (0-7, 0-6).

Jefferson City (4-9) returns to action Monday when it hosts Hickman.
