WESTPHALIA - Josef Keilholz pitched a complete game, as well as blasting a solo home run, to lead the Fatima Comets to a 4-1 win Friday against the Hickman Kewpies.
Keilholz allowed just one earned run in the third inning, scattering nine hits against the Kewpies. He finished with three walks and six strikeouts to get the win.
The defense also backed up Keilholz on Friday, turning three double plays with the bases loaded to get Fatima out of jams.
The Comets scored twice in the first inning, once in the second and added another run in the fourth. They were held to just four hits, with Keilholz collecting a pair of base hits.
Fatima (6-8) hosts Fulton on Monday.
