Prep Baseball: Blair Oaks 12, Warsaw 1

WARSAW, Mo. - Playing just their second true road game of the season, the Blair Oaks Falcons returned to Tri-County Conference action Tuesday, beating the Warsaw Wildcats 12-1 in six innings to snap a five-game losing streak.

Colton Hoelscher needed just 82 pitches in a complete-game effort. He allowed one run on five hits and struck out six while allowing no walks.

Blair Oaks scored twice in the first and added three runs in the second to build a 5-0 lead. After tacking on a run in the fifth, the Falcons ended the game by run-rule with a six-run sixth inning.

The Falcons finished the game with 10 hits.

Nolan Hair and Kamron Morriss each had one single, one double and two RBI, while Bryce Kempker finished with two singles and two RBI for Blair Oaks. Jacob Stegemann also had one single and one RBI.

Blair Oaks (6-12, 2-0 Tri-County) plays today at Southern Boone (6-0, 3-0 Tri-County).

In Tuesday's JV game, Blair Oaks defeated Warsaw 10-1 in five innings to improve to 4-2.

Shane Gillmore had three hits to lead the Falcons, while Jacob Rademan added a pair of hits and Drew Byrd had two RBI.

Cole Jungmeyer pitched all five innings to earn the win, allowing one run on five
