The Helias Crusaders finished second Monday to lead area teams in the Helias Invitational at Meadow Lake Acres Country Club.
Helias totaled a 328 in finish second behind Rock Bridge's 304 in the 18-team tournament. Jefferson City shot a 364 to finish seventh, while Blair Oaks was 12th with a 402. Linn was 13th at 405, with Russellville taking 18th with a 482.
Jack Rundle of Helias crashed the Rock Bridge party at the top of the individual standings, taking third with a 76. Alex Gentry of the Crusaders tied for sixth with a 79.
Nathan Erickson led Jefferson City's finishers, tying for sixth with a 79.
Jake Closser led Blair Oaks, tying for 31st with a 93. Kole Peters and Ethan Russell shared honors for Linn, tying for 46 with 100s. Logan Morris was Russellville's top finisher, tying for 68th with a 109.
Ross Steelman of Rock Bridge was the medalist with an even-par 72 as the Bruins finished with four of the top five individuals.
