TROY, Mo. - The Jefferson City Lady Jays qualified three golfers for sectionals Monday at the Class 2 District 4 Tournament at Woods Fort Golf Course.
Sami Swinfard had the Lady Jays' top score, finishing in sixth place with a 16-over 88. Christa Kiesling was also an all-district selection, tying for 11th with a 91, while Grafton Craighead advanced to sectionals by taking 21st with a 97.
Other Lady Jay golfers include Valerie Hurt, who tied for 29th with a 105, and Grace Craighead, who finished 47th with a 119.
The Lady Jays finished fifth out of nine teams in the district standings with a 381. Jefferson City tied with Fort Zumwalt West but lost the tiebreaker for fourth place.
