LINN, Mo. - Calvary Lutheran only needed 14 innings to win three games Saturday on its way to a Linn Tournament championship.
The Lady Lions defeated Linn 8-2 in five innings, Westminster Christian 12-1 in five innings and Iberia 10-2 in four innings.
Abbie Klatt had two hits against Westminster Christian, including a grand slam.
Sydney Duenckel also cleared the fence for a home run. She added a single and drove in four runs. Lily McCarty also had two hits.
Haley Braun was the winning pitcher, allowing two runs with six strikeouts and two walks.
Klatt added two hits and two RBI against Linn. Sam Matthews and Amanda Braun each finished with two hits.
Presley Welch got the win in the circle, allowing two run with six strikeouts and a walk.
Welch also earned the win against Iberia, giving up one earned run while striking out six and walking none.
Klatt had two hits and three RBI. Anna Zimmerman and Haley Braun each added two hits and an RBI. McCarty hit a solo home run.
Calvary Lutheran (9-6) plays Monday at Montgomery County.
