ST. LOUIS - The Helias Lady Crusaders captured Class 3 honors, while the Crusaders were second Saturday in the Hancock Cross Country Invitational.
Abby Hake finished seventh (21:01) to pace the Lady Crusaders. Morgan Yanskey was 10th (21:52.4), while Ashley Eskens finished 13th (22:02.10).
Emma Veltrop (22:23.6), Alicia Engelbrecht (22:25.0) and Lani Andrews (22:26.2) finished 20th through 22nd, respectively, while Claire McDonald (23:45.8) was 35th.
On the boys side, Jack Crull was second (16:51.8) and Jenson Starr finished fourth (17:29.7). Brian Kirchoff (18:26.5) was 25th, with Riley Scott (18:54.5) taking 34th and Jack Hentges (19:17.7) finishing 46th. Colby Kroll (19:24.2) was 52nd and Peyton Wright (19:53.7) was 63rd.
