Prep Baseball: St. Elizabeth 9, Vienna 6

VIENNA, Mo. - The St. Elizabeth Hornets scored four runs in the top of the seventh, rallying past the Vienna Eagles for a 9-6 win Tuesday.

Ross Struemph, who finished 3-for-4 at the plate, tied the game at 6 with a solo home run. Nolan Heckemeyer was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to give St. Elizabeth the lead, while Mason Kemna, who finished 2-for-5, added insurance with a two-run single.

Aaron Blomberg also went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Struemph picked up the win in relief, pitching two scoreless innings and allowing one hit. Dakota Kemna struck out one in the seventh to get the save. Dylan Wobbe threw the first four innings, allowing six runs (three earned) on five hits with two walks and one strikeout.

St. Elizabeth (11-2) plays Thursday at Richland.
