COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Jefferson City Lady Jays swept their doubles matches Wednesday in an 8-1 victory at Hickman.
Erica Dunn and Bailey Higgins won 9-0 in doubles play. Bailey Patrick and Quintera Lewis (8-2) and Akhi Donthireddy and Sudhi Kumar (8-1) also won.
Singles winners were Dunn (6-4, 7-5), Patrick (6-4 , 5-7 (10-7)), Higgins (6-2, 6-0) Lewis (6-1, 7-5) and Kumar (6-0, 6-0). Donthireddy lost 6-4, 3-6 (6-10).
The Lady Jays won the JV match 5-4.
Jefferson City (10-5) will host Camdenton at 4 p.m. today.
