Prep Softball: Hickman 3, Jefferson City 2

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Jefferson City Lady Jays rallied from a 2-0 deficit only to have Hickman score the winning run on a wild pitch in a 3-2 loss Tuesday night.

Mychael Jett hit an RBI single in the sixth to get the Lady Jays within 2-1. In the seventh, Megan Green smacked a solo home run to tie the game.

Zoe Derboven led off the bottom of the seventh with a single, advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt, went to third on a fielder's choice and scored the winning run on a wild pitch.

Jett had two of Jefferson City's six hits. She took the loss in the circle, allowing three run on eight hits with two strikeouts and a walk.

Jefferson City (5-6) is back in action Thursday against Blair Oaks at 63 Diamonds.
