Prep Softball: Blair Oaks 20, Eldon 3

ELDON, Mo. - The Blair Oaks Lady Falcons rolled to a 20-3 victory in three innings Thursday against the Eldon lady Mustangs.

Makenna Kliethermes pitched the first inning, allowing a hit and striking out two for the Lady Falcons. Meredith Eisterhold finished the game, giving up three unearned runs on three hits with a strikeout.

Kayla Jones went 4-for-4 with five RBI, coming up a home run shy of the cycle. Torie Thurston and Hannah Schroeder each added three hits for Blair Oaks (2-2), with Thurston driving in a run and Schroeder driving in two. Macey Stockman had two hits and three RBI, and Nicole Bryan chipped in two hits.

Blair Oaks JV also run-ruled Eldon, winning 9-0 in three innings. Kaitlyn Luebbering pitched a no-hitter, striking out four and walking two for the Lady Falcons (6-0). Natalie Otto had two hits and drove in two runs, and Kaitlyn Kolb had a three-RBI hit.

Blair Oaks hosts Helias on Tuesday, with JV playing first at 5 p.m., on 'Honor our Heroes' night, a tribute to military veterans. A special ceremony will held after the JV game, followed by the varsity game at around 6:45 p.m.
