Blair Oaks advances to state softball championship

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Blair Oaks downed the Lathrop Lady Mules 2-1 in 9 innings today in the Class 2 state semifinals at the Killian Sports Complex.

The Lady Falcons (28-5) now face Bowling Green in the championship at 10 a.m. Saturday. Lathrop (27-2) will play at 1 p.m. Saturday against Kelly in the third-place game.

Bowling Green downed Kelly 7-6 in today's other Class 2 semifinal.
