CHAMOIS, Mo. - The Chamois Pirates dropped their season opener 58-45 to the Vienna Eagles on Tuesday.
Chamois held an 11-7 lead after one quarter, but Vienna took a 21-20 lead into halftime and extended it to 36-30 through three quarters.
Aaron Brandt had a team-high 29 points to lead the Pirates.
Chamois (0-1) plays Russellville next Tuesday in the first round of the Tipton Tournament.
