Boys Basketball: Fatima 82, Eldon 57

WESTPHALIA, Mo. - The Fatima Comets used a strong third quarter to pull away to an 82-57 win Tuesday night against the Eldon Mustangs.

Fatima led 18-15 after one quarter and 40-32 at halftime. The Comets outscored the Mustangs 22-7 in the third quarter to pull away to a 62-39 advantage.

Brett Werner scored a team-high 20 points for the Comets, while Tim Brunnert finished with 18 points. Daniel Holterman also reached double figures with 11 points.

Kaiden Mays scored a game-high 28 points for the Mustangs.

Fatima (1-1) hosts Cuba next Tuesday. Eldon (0-2) plays Lincoln next Tuesday in the first round of the Warsaw Tournament.
