Boys Basketball: Belle 100, Dixon 96

WAYNESVILLE, Mo. - There was no shortage of scoring in Saturday's game between Belle and Dixon.

The teams went back-and-forth in the high-scoring affair, with the Tigers coming out on top 100-96 in the Frisco League/Show-Me Conference Challenge.

Belle took a 32-27 lead after one quarter of play, but Dixon had a 47-45 advantage at halftime. Belle led 66-65 heading into the fourth quarter.

Skylar Smith led Belle with 34 points. Tracy Skiles scored 24, Tucker Cordsmeyer and Brett Butler each had 12, and Mason Butler added 10.

Belle (1-0) plays Tuesday at New Haven.
