WASHINGTON, Mo. - The Helias boys and girls track and field teams each totaled four individual wins and two relay victories Tuesday as both claimed team titles at the Borgia Invitational.
The Crusaders won the 4x100- and 4x400-meter relays. Sam Heckart topped the field in the 300-meter hurdles. Chandler Luebbert held off Tyler Stark of St. Clair for the 800-meter run victory.
In the field events, Nash Harvey and Jonas Miller won the pole vault and high jump, respectively.
The Lady Crusaders had the top three finishers in the 800-meter run, with Emma Veltrop winning the event.
Chloe Ramsey won the pole vault, Rylee Kolb was first in the high jump and Anna Vollet won the long jump by nearly two feet.
Helias also placed first in the 4x100 and 4x800.
