ST. ELIZABETH, Mo. - Zach Bond drove in three runs and Mason Kirkweg pitched a five-hitter, leading the Eugene Eagles to an 8-0 win Friday against the St. Elizabeth Hornets in Show-Me Conference action.
Bond went 2-for-3 for the Eagles with a single and a home run. Jacob Adrian and Jarin Limbach each had a single and one RBI.
Kirkweg struck out 10 batters in seven innings and allowed two walks, throwing 96 pitches in a complete-game effort.
Eugene (1-4) will host Iberia on Monday. St. Elizabeth (2-1) plays Monday at Vienna.
