IBERIA - The St. Elizabeth Hornets held the Crocker Lions to 21 second-half points in Friday's 68-65 win in the third-place game of the Iberia Tournament.
Both teams got off to a fast start as the Hornets led 22-21 after the first quarter and the Lions took a 44-38 advantage at halftime. St. Elizabeth cut the deficit to 55-54 heading into the fourth quarter.
Ross Struemph paced the Hornets with 26 points while Zach Voss scored 18.
St. Elizabeth (6-8) will host Richland on Monday.
