ST. JAMES - The Blair Oaks Falcons held off a late rally Friday night, defeating the Sullivan Eagles 62-54 in the semifinals of the St. James Tournament.
Blair Oaks cruised for much of the game, leading 18-6 after the first quarter, 32-15 at halftime and 44-26 after three quarters.
The Eagles used turnovers and 3-pointers to help close the gap in the final eight minutes, but it wasn't enough as the Falcons held on for the victory.
Jason Rackers led Blair Oaks with 17 points while Thomas Verslues finished with 16 points.
Blair Oaks (13-2) will face Rolla at 8 p.m. today in the championship game.
