Girls Basketball: Struemph gets career-high for St. Elizabeth

OSAGE BEACH- Brooke Struemph scored a career-high 38 points Tuesday to lead the St. Elizabeth Lady Hornets to a 58-45 win against Crocker in the first round of the Osage Tournament.

Crocker took an early 8-7 lead after the first eight minutes of play, but the Lady Hornets took a 25-20 advantage at halftime and led 40-32 after three.

Struemph also had seven rebounds to go along with her career-high in points. Kayla Struemph recorded her first double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

St. Elizabeth (10-3) plays Richland at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the semifinals.
