CHAMOIS - The St. Elizabeth Lady Hornets beat the Chamois Lady Pirates 40-29 on Thursday night.
Chamois led 8-5 after the first quarter, but St. Elizabeth led 18-12 at halftime and 29-21 after the third.
Brooke Struemph had 20 points and 16 points for her ninth double-double for St. Elizabeth. Kayla Struemph had seven points and 11 rebounds for the Lady Hornets.
Katie Brandt and Haley Skaggs each had nine points for Chamois.
Chamois (5-10) plays at Hermann on Monday. St. Elizabeth (9-3) plays at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday against Crocker in the first round of the Osage Tournament.
