RUSSELLVILLE, Mo. - The Fatima Lady Comets clinched at least a share of the Show-Me Conference title Monday with a 59-30 win against the Russellville Lady Indians.
Fatima bolted out to a 14-4 lead after one quarter and then outscored Russellville 21-3 in the second quarter to lead 35-7 at the half. The Lady Comets held a 45-19 lead entering the fourth quarter.
Sydney Neuner led Fatima with a game-high 25 points of 12-of-14 shooting. McKendra Fischer had a team-high 11 points for Russellville.
Fatima (16-8, 7-0 Show-Me) will play Thursday at Linn to finish the regular season with a chance to win the conference title outright.
Russellville (14-11, 3-5 Show-Me) will face Calvary Lutheran next Monday at Sturgeon in the first round of the Class 2 District 8 Tournament.
