Girls Basketball: California 53, School of the Osage 45

CALIFORNIA - The California Lady Pintos rallied in the second half Monday for a 53-45 win to knock off the School of the Osage Lady Indians in a Tri-County Conference matchup.

Osage is ranked No. 7 in Class 4 by the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association.

The Lady Indians led 12-5 after one quarter and 27-20 at halftime, but the Lady Pintos started the second half on a 9-1 run to take a 29-28 lead.

Osage would retake the lead and went into the fourth quarter ahead 38-35, but California outscored the Lady Indians 18-7 during the final eight minutes.

Emma Bailey led California with a game-high 18 points and Elizabeth Lutz finished with 15 points.

For Osage, Kendal Miller scored 17 points and Kerrigan Gamm finished with 11.

California (18-5, 4-2 Tri-County) will play Thursday at Blair Oaks. Osage (19-5, 5-1 Tri-County) will host Eldon (18-5, 6-0 Tri-County) on Thursday with the conference title on the line.
