Blair Oaks girls down St. Elizabeth

ST. ELIZABETH, Mo. - The Blair Oaks Lady Falcons bounced back from Monday's loss to Fatima by defeating the St. Elizabeth Lady Hornets 55-22 on Thursday.

The Lady Falcons led 9-4 after one quarter, but a 19-point second quarter allowed Blair Oaks to take a commanding 28-8 lead at halftime.

Blair Oaks extended its lead to 46-20 entering the fourth quarter.

Makenna Kliethermes finished with a game-high 14 points to lead the Lady Falcons, while Kayla Jones added 11 points.

Paige Struemph led the Lady Hornets with a double-double of 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Blair Oaks (6-2) plays Tuesday at district foe Dixon.

St. Elizabeth (3-4) plays Monday at Tuscumbia in Show-Me Conference play.

The Lady Falcons also won Thursday's two-quarter JV game 29-16. Shay Turner led the Lady Falcons with eight points.
