Boys Basketball: Vienna 89, Iberia 71

VIENNA, Mo. - Isaac Weider scored a game-high 33 points Tuesday, leading the Vienna Eagles to an 89-71 win against the Iberia Rangers.

Vienna jumped out to a 24-13 lead after one quarter, then led 41-27 at halftime and 64-50 after three quarters before scoring 25 points in the final eight minutes.

Logan Agan and Kyle Helton each had 12 points for Vienna, while Luke McEnnis finished with 10 points.

For Iberia, Carter Halley had a team-high 18 points and Zach Voss finished with 17 points. Hayden Humphrey also scored in double figures with 10 points.

Iberia (3-4) hosts Conway on Dec. 21.

Vienna also defeated Laquey 93-53 last Friday. Zach Scwartze led the Eagles with 21 points, while Agan added 13 points and Caid Stockstill finished with 12 points. McEnnis chipped in 11 pints in the win and Tyler Roberds had nine points and nine rebounds.

Vienna (5-3) plays Friday at Newburg.
