Boys Basketball: Versailles 72, Cole Camp 70

COLE CAMP, Mo. - The Versailles Tigers picked up their first road win of the season Tuesday, defeating the Cole Camp Bluebirds 72-70.

In a close contest throughout, Versailles was clinging to a 19-18 lead after one quarter. The score was tied at 41 at halftime and the Tigers led 55-53 entering the fourth quarter.

Jonathan Geier led the Tigers with 22 points, while Wyatt Espinosa finished with 14 points. Coby Williams and Ayrton Gennetten each chipped in 11 points.

Versailles (3-3) hosts Tipton on Saturday.

In Tuesday other contests, Cole Camp won the JV game 54-30, while Versailles won the freshman game 51-41.
