WARRENSBURG, Mo. - The Versailles Tigers fell behind early on the road Friday. A fourth-quarter comeback came up short in a 74-58 loss to the Warrensburg Tigers.
Warrensburg led 25-14 after one quarter, 38-25 at halftime and 60-38 through three quarters. Versailles had its best offensive output of the game in the fourth quarter, scoring 20 points in the final eight minutes.
Jonathan Geier led the Tigers with 27 points and Wyatt Espinosa finished with 11 points.
Warrensburg also won the JV game 60-55.
Versailles (2-3) plays Tuesday at Cole Camp.
