Boys Basketball: Jays frosh sweep Rock Bridge

The Jefferson City Jays swept a freshman doubleheader Thursday at Fleming Fieldhouse.

The Jays won the A game 60-40 against Rock Bridge to improve to 4-0, while the B team came away with a 53-52 win to move to 2-0.

Ian Jones led the Jays with 14 points in the A game, while Orentheus Pitts finished with 13 points. Isaac Jones added 11 points in the win.

In the B game, Kobe Sands finished with 15 points for Jefferson City and Steveon Dove added 12 points.

Jefferson City's freshman A team plays at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the championship game of the School of the Osage Tournament.
