COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Helias Crusaders picked up two wins Friday against Sedalia Smith-Cotton and Rock Bridge JV to win the Rock Bridge Bruin Invitational.
Helias won 5-1 against Sedalia Smith-Cotton, getting doubles wins from Cance Pool and Jordan Roling (8-3) and Seth Pezley and Jacob Cowley (8-2).
Winning in singles were Tristan Grawe (8-5), Cory Strope (4-1) and Jack Loehr (4-1). Dalton Buschjost lost 5-8.
The Crusaders then picked up a 4-3 win against Rock Bridge JV. Pool and Roling won their doubles match 8-5 and Cowley (8-3), Loehr (4-0) and Strope (4-2) each won in singles play.
Buschjost and Grawe lost 2-8 in doubles, while Pezley (3-8) and Buschjost (2-8) dropped their singles matches.
Helias hosts Fulton on Tuesday at Washington Park.
