Prep Baseball: Jays JV splits DH

WARDSVILLE, Mo. - The Jefferson City Jays split a JV doubleheader Friday at Blair Oaks.

The Falcons won the first game 16-6 with Jefferson City taking the second game 10-0.

Bryce Kempker went 3-for-3 with two RBI in the first game for Blair Oaks. Gavin Bernskoetter finished 2-for-4.

Tyler Gish was the winning pitcher, allowing four earned runs and striking out three in five innings.

Hunter Forck took the loss in the second game, surrendering four earned runs and striking out three.

Mason Hansen went 3-for-4 with an RBI for Jefferson City in the first game. Jack Shinkle had two hits and an RBI.

Blair Oaks (7-6) is scheduled to host a tournament today.
