MEXICO, Mo. - The Helias girls and boys track and field teams placed fourth and fifth, respectively, at the Mexico Invitational on Saturday.
Battle won both team titles.
Abby Hake won an individual event and was part of a relay win as well. She placed first in the 3,200-meter run in 12:28.14. Hake, Morgan Yanskey, Ashley Eskens and Emma Veltrop won the 4x800-meter relay in 10:26.10.
Emma Veltrop also picked up a win for the Lady Crusader in the 400-meter run with a time of 1:03.20.
Chandler Luebbert, Jack Crull, Joe Randazzo and Colden Imhoff won the boys 4x800 in 8:39.65. Luebbert won the 800-meter run with a time of 2:06.91.
Grant Bryan, Imhoff, Chandler Luebbert and Blake Veltrop took the top spot in the 4x400 in 3:36.45.
