SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - The Helias Lady Crusaders went 2-0 Saturday to conclude the Sacred Heart-Griffin Tournament.
After losing to the host school 3-1 on Friday, Helias beat Providence Catholic 5-0 and United Township 3-0 on Saturday.
Kayla Yanskey assisted Michalee Sipi for a goal against Sacred Heart-Griffin in Friday's contest.
Yanskey also scored two goals against Providence Catholic. Sipi added a pair of goals, while Reese Hamilton also scored. Yanskey, Sipi, Hamilton and Sarah Pierle each recorded an assist.
Yanskey, Megan Kerr and Hamilton scored against United Township. Maya Heckart and Alishia Berhorst each had an assist. Ashley Rehagen got the shutout in goal in both wins.
Helias (6-8) host Visitation Academy on Tuesday. The JV game will start at 4 p.m. followed by the varsity contest around 5:45 p.m.
