Rieke's home run lifts Linn past Father Tolton

COLUMBIA - Allison Rieke hit a three-run inside-the-park home run with two outs in the top of the seventh inning, rallying the Linn Lady Wildcats to an 8-7 against the Father Tolton Lady Trailblazers on Monday.

Rieke was 3-for-4 and also had two singles prior to her winning hit.

Darby Nolting went 3-for-4 for Linn, finishing a home run shy of the cycle, with one RBI. Hailey McKim was 2-for-4 with two RBI and Morgan Senevey was 2-for-4 with one run scored.

Sami Frank was the winning pitcher. She threw four innings of relief and allowed four runs (two earned) on four hits with four walks and two strikeouts.

Linn (15-1) will host New Bloomfield today in a Show-Me Conference matchup.
