SPRINGFIELD - The Helias Lady Crusader JV team went 4-2 at the Glendale JV Tournament on Saturday to finish in third place.
The tournament was a seven-team round-robin style. Helias' wins were against Kickapoo (25-18, 27-29, 25-17), Glendale (25-19, 25-19), Lebanon (23-25, 25-23 25-14) and Joplin (25-17, 25-21). The Lady Crusaders lost to Willard (24-26, 25-16, 25-22) and Rogersville (17-25, 25-14, 25-16).
In the tournament, Riley Bernskoetter had 106 assists, 24 digs, 15 kills and five blocks to lead Helias. Grace Millard added 35 kills and five blocks, Danielle Kroll had 23 kills, Sommer Kolb finished with 24 kills, Olivia Farrow had 13 aces and Krystal Brauner and Audrey Boessen finished with 71 and 41 digs, respectively.
Helias (17-3) will play at Battle on Tuesday.
