VIENNA, Mo. - Vienna beat Russellville 14-0 in six innings Saturday to win the Vienna Invitational.
Russellville finished second in the tournament, defeating Newburg 10-0 and Richland 10-5.
Jordyn Steffen got the win, allowing three hits with four strikeouts. She also had three hits.
Mikayla Snodgrass, Courtney Falter, Bailey Wilkinson and Corlis Kloeppel each added two hits.
In the first round game of the round-robin tournament, Vienna shut out Richland 10-0 in 5 innings. Steffen gave up three hits and struck out 11. Taylour Schoene, Wilkinson and Falter each had two hits.
In the second round, Vienna defeated Newburg 15-4. Steffen allowed two earned runs on five hits. She struck out four and walked none. Steffen added three hits.
Vienna (11-2) hosts Tuscumbia on Monday.
