ST. ELIZABETH - The St. Elizabeth Hornets beat Richland 7-1 on Thursday.
Nolan Holtmeyer went 3-for-4 with a double, Dakota Kemna went 3-for-3 with two RBI and Ross Struemph went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a double.
Holtmeyer got the win, pitching five innings and giving up one earned run on three hits, four walks and five strikeouts. Mason Kemna pitched the last two innings, giving up a hit and a walk with four strikeouts.
St. Elizabeth (6-1) hosts Iberia today.
