Helias volleyball sweeps Rock Bridge

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Helias Lady Crusaders beat Rock Bridge 25-9, 25-8 on Thursday to remain undefeated this season.

Jada Oldham recorded 16 service points and 13 assists, Riley Bernskoetter had 14 assists and five service points and Ellie Rockers had 10 kills, six digs and five service points for the Lady Crusaders.

Korie Otto contributed seven kills and three blocks, Grace Millard added seven kills and two blocks, Callie Henson had six kills and Krystal Brauner had seven digs in the win.

Helias (25-0-1), ranked the No. 11 in the nation this week by MaxPreps, hosts St. Joseph's Academy on Monday. The freshman and JV matches start at 4:30 p.m., with the varsity to follow around 5:45 p.m.

Helias won Thursday's JV match 25-14, 25-17 to improve to 17-6.

Audrey Cook had 12 assists, Lacey Heidbrink had 11 digs, Jordan Benward tallied seven kills and five digs and Grace Wilding had four kills.

The Lady Crusaders also won the freshman match 25-22, 25-19 to improve to 10-4.

Grace Verslues had seven assists, six service points and five digs, Alice Stiefermann added eight assists and six service points and Kendal Saucier had six kills and five digs.
