NEW HAVEN - The Calvary Lutheran Lady Lions advanced to Class 1 District 12 Tournament championship game Wednesday, but top-seeded New Haven prevailed 25-16, 25-13 against the second-seeded Lady Lions.
Calvary Lutheran defeated Chamois 25-6, 25-6 Wednesday to advance to the title game.
New Haven beat Russellville 25-7, 25-6 in the other semifinal.
Becca Thompson led the Lady Lions with 14 service points in the semifinal match.She also led with seven assists.
Maddie Layson totaled nine kills on the night.
The Lady Lions finish the season with a program-best record of 28-2.
