Prep softball: Blair Oaks 15, Warsaw 2

WARSAW - The Blair Oaks Lady Falcons capped a perfect record in the Tri-County Conference with a 15-2 win in five innings against the Warsaw Lady Wildcats on Monday.

Blair Oaks finishes the Tri-County schedule with a 7-0 record to win its six straight conference title. The Lady Falcons have won or shared the Tri-County conference championship in 20 of the past 21 seasons.

Megan Mitchem was the winning pitcher for Blair Oaks. She threw the first four innings and allowed one run on four hits with one walk and one strikeout. Meredith Eisterhold pitched the fifth inning and allowed one run on one hit.

Seven players had multi-hit games for the Lady Falcons. Emilee Jones, Carli Buschjost, Hannah Schroeder, Brooke Boessen and Nicole Bryan each had two hits and two RBI. Sydney Wilde and Macyn Wilbers finished with two hits and one RBI, while Mitchem had one hit and one RBI. Eisterhold also had a pinch-hit double.

Blair Oaks (17-8) will play at 5 p.m. Thursday in the semifinals of the Class 2 District 10 tournament against the winner of the Russellville-California game.
