SPRINGFIELD - Helias will have two doubles teams competing next week in individual sectionals after taking the top two spots in districts Friday.
Abby Dowden and Catherine Conley defeated School of the Osage 6-2, 6-1 and Springfield Catholic 6-2, 6-0.
They also beat teammates Megan Oliver and Liz Conley 6-1, 6-4 to finish first.
Oliver and Liz Conley defeated Bolivar 6-1, 6-1 and Springfield Catholic 7-6 (7-3), 5-7, 7-6 (7-1) to take second.
The two doubles teams will compete Tuesday in sectionals at Logan-Rogersville.
In singles play, Anna Theroff lost 4-6, 2-6 to Springfield Catholic. Grace Twehous lost 3-6, 1-6 to Bolivar.
