COLUMBIA - The Jefferson City Lady Jays dropped a 1-0 decision Tuesday to the Rock Bridge Bruins in the semifinals of the Class 4 District 11 Soccer Tournament.
Rock Bridge got the lone goal of the contest on a penalty kick from Paige Peterson in the opening 10 minutes.
Jefferson City, ranked No. 10 in the final regular season state poll by the Missouri High School Soccer Coaches Association, ends its season at 17-6-1.
Rock Bridge (9-12), the No. 3 seed in the tournament, will host top-seeded Hickman (20-5) for the title at 6 p.m. Thursday. Hickman, ranked No. 8, defeated Sedalia Smith-Cotton 4-0 in Tuesday's first semifinal.
